MBA Students

College of Business Undergraduates

Undergraduate students currently studying business: you can take up to nine hours of graduate level coursework during your senior year. If you have an undergraduate business degree from Lamar University, you will not need leveling courses and therefore can complete nine hours in the core or concentration electives before graduating with a Bachelors in Business Administration. We invite BBA students who have a 3.5 GPA during junior year to participate in the five-year BBA/MBA Program. If you're invited, you may receive scholarship funds.

Computer Information Science Undergraduates

You can receive a B.S. in Computer Sciences and an MBA within five years after the beginning of your study at Lamar University. You may satisfy the leveling requirement for the MBA during your undergraduate study by completing electives for the B.S. Computer Information Sciences. See full plan here

Engineering undergraduates

Electrical Engineering

The five year B.S. in Electrical Engineering/MBA allows Electrical Engineering students to obtain both an undergraduate and MBA degree within five years after the beginning of her/her study at Lamar University. You can get an early start on your MBA studies by satisfying the leveling requirements during your undergraduate work. All you need to do is complete two electives for the B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a course in Engineering Economics. See full plan here.

Industrial Engineering

Industrial Engineering students are able to complete both their B.S. in Industrial Engineering and MBA within five years by using electives and Engineering Economics to satisfying the majority of leveling requirements for the MBA Program. 

Industrial Technology

Industrial Engineering students are able to complete both their B.S. in Industrial Technology and MBA within five years by using electives and Engineering Economics to satisfy the majority of leveling requirements for the MBA Program.
